Knocked Out Tooth
Rinse the tooth gently under water to remove debris. If there is tissue attached to the tooth do not remove it. Place the tooth back into the socket it fell out of, taking care to orient it correctly. Call the office immediately and hold the tooth in place until you get here. If you are not comfortable placing the tooth back in the socket, put the tooth in milk and bring it to us so we can determine whether replacement is possible. Knocked out teeth have the highest chance of being saved if they are reinserted within one hour of being knocked out.
